Designed as a unique piece, simple in design but complex in execution, with hidden diamond set details that are revealed to the wearer upon closer inspection on the back of the pendant.

Blue diamonds are exceptionally rare and highly sought after. Coloured fancy diamonds make up only 2% of rough diamonds used in cutting and blue diamonds are amongst the rarest of fancy colours. The blue colour is caused by trace elements of boron within the carbon atoms.

The Platinum Mount

Hand crafted entirely from platinum, the main mount for the blue diamond is a complex setting with flowing lines and intricate detail front and back.

The main setting for the blue diamond is pavé set with VVS diamonds, front and back, the flowing curves are further enhanced with finely executed bright cut setting. Curved light reflecting edges border the the diamonds and define the shape further.

Link Manufacture

The necklace features a one of a kind handmade platinum chain with individual diamond set sections, each link is individually set with 12 small diamonds.

Once each link component is diamond set, the intricate and time-consuming process of laser welding the platinum chain begins. Due to the size of each component and delicate nature of the chain, welding is carried out under a microscope with tweezers.
